About Me

I am an Artist and Art Teacher living in Round Rock, Texas. Art has been a part of my daily routine since I was in Elementary School, and there are no current plans to change that. My work originates in my compulsion to create, inspired by images I see in everyday surroundings. My creative experiments range from drawing to making glass jewelry. My paintings combine the fluidity and experimentation of contemporary watercolor with whimsical creatures and the human form. I make art with the intent to create something that inspires curiosity and creates a narrative in the mind of the viewer. The doodling that used to get me in trouble with teachers who simply wanted me to write an essay with professional-looking margins are now something I cherish and share with all.
